There are places that seem to have been created for living. For enjoying time with family and friends. In Sitges, not far from here, located in the iconic Garraf hills, our teams have just completed the construction of a spectacular single-family home surrounded by nature and tranquility.
The exquisite project designed by the team at Rardo Architects has succeeded in unlocking the full potential of a plot with a slope of more than 30%. The property, in fact, descends continuously from its northern boundary all the way to the opposite end.
Based on that premise, the teams at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios have built the main structure: a single volume that accommodates the project’s four levels—garage, basement, ground floor, and first floor.
The brief for this single-family home has it all. On the ground floor are the three bedrooms of the house, each with its own bathroom and walk-in closet… Generous, light-filled spaces that open out onto the plot’s spectacular views.
Spaces for family living
The first floor is designed for family living. It features the kitchen, the living-dining room, another bathroom… Over 100 square meters to share and enjoy.
The basement also serves a similar purpose. The project has placed on this level a gym and an art studio. Finally, in the garage area, storage and service spaces have been created. All floors are connected by an elevator.

The project has in fact taken into account the powerful presence of natural light across the entire plot. Sun exposure extends throughout the whole day, so it was decided to shield the home somewhat from direct sunlight by means of large cornices, overhangs, and pergolas set in front of the building’s façade planes.
