We have renovated the offices where the magic of Primavera Sound is crafted

It is one of the international benchmarks in the world of music and large-scale festivals. For over two decades, the creators of Primavera Sound have established a genuine identity that today leaves its mark in Barcelona, Madrid, Porto, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile… A cultural phenomenon that simmers in offices like the ones we have just renovated in Madrid.

The teams at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios have carried out a distinctive project. A work that has updated and modernized over 1,200 meters of office space for Primavera Sound in the Spanish capital. Spread across six floors (basement, mezzanine, and four above-ground levels), the complex is the epitome of functionality and design.

The project developed by the architects at Pulso Estudio has drawn from the unique personality that emanates from Primavera Sound to create distinctive spaces. Different, yes, but also efficient and rational. In the impressive performance, professionals from other companies such as Naturact and Puerta Abierta have also worked.

To undertake this ambitious renovation, the teams at Desarrolla began by overhauling the entire technical flooring of the offices. The new floor was shaped with a vinyl finish using plots that convey a very avant-garde image without sacrificing any of its functionality.

The New Spaces of Primavera Sound

Concurrently, the false ceilings of all rooms were reconstructed. Relocating and adapting everything to the multifunctional needs of the workspace. Indeed, Desarrolla replaced the entire power and data network of the Primavera Sound offices to accommodate 75 workstations distributed across all floors. The goal? To create a fully functional environment, with features in every corner, tailored to the operational needs of the company.In this regard, the project also led our teams to install some spectacular glass partitions. Six by six meter structures made with black lacquered aluminum frames. These structures have allowed for the segmentation of spaces within the offices while simultaneously creating a sense of spaciousness and accessibility. An idea that is reinforced by the fluid passage of natural light.This concept is particularly evident between the first and second floors. There, in a double-height open space, the passage of light and the large outdoor gallery have created a very original architectural concept that naturally connects with the Primavera Sound culture.An area where, moreover, Desarrolla has performed meticulous enameling work on the staircase that connects both floors.The painting tasks throughout the office, the creation of backings on several floors to meet the needs of Primavera Sound and the installation of cutting-edge lighting on the ground floor and basement complete a high-value project.A project we have been delighted to be a part of.
