In construction and architecture, as in life, there are second chances that represent a radical change. A new life. This is precisely what we have just achieved at the foot of the Betanzos estuary: the rebirth of a residence with spectacular views of the Atlantic.

The project designed by NAOS Arquitectura has successfully revitalized a building that now looks modern, functional… Simply new.

The project essentially involved the renovation of a two-story house with an attic. The work began with the demolition of the interior wooden floors, the roof, the joinery, and the auxiliary buildings.

Something akin to retracing one's steps to unleash the rebirth of a residence with tremendous potential.

From there, our teams worked on a new foundation to activate the renovation, in which the existing solution of stone walls from the original construction has been maintained.

The starting point that has meant a comprehensive, cross-cutting reform throughout the single-family home. New roofing, carpentry, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems…
