Today, the Spanish geography is dotted with hotels and residential tourist projects reimagined by our teams. In many instances, these are complex undertakings, not only due to the density and intricacy of the requirement programs, but also because some projects required ensuring coexistence between the renovation and the ongoing operations of the establishment.

Pilgrim, an Icon of the Way

When pilgrims undertaking the Portuguese Way enter Santiago, one of the first buildings that astonishes them is the Hotel Peregrino. Constructed in 1967, our teams completely modernized the facilities in record time.The Peregrino project was a very unique undertaking within Desarrolla's hotel rehabilitation area. This was because in just five months, the eight-story, 297-room hotel was completely updated.Our teams carried out a comprehensive renovation both on the exterior and interior of the building. The project led by entrepreneur Juan Carlos Rodríguez Cebrián involved the renewal of the exterior facade, the roofing, as well as all the interior spaces, which today appear warmer, more modern, and visually appealing.Ultimately, a delightful project for its history and, above all, for its bright future.

The chic elegance of Boho Club

From a striking urban hotel, we move to a completely different concept: the Boho Club, in Marbella. There, our teams renovated and modernized 10 charming bungalows with a retro-chic style that connects perfectly with the surroundings.The execution of the work involved the renovation of false ceilings, joinery, terrace flooring, as well as all the carpentry and basic installations: plumbing, air conditioning, sanitation...Concurrently, herringbone flooring was installed in each bungalow, as well as exquisite vinyl on the vertical walls of each building. The interior design work completed a project that has meticulously cared for every detail.

The 4-star Riazor Hotel

La del icónico Hotel Riazor, en A Coruña, fue una rehabilitación de hoteles especialmente satisfactoria para nuestros equipos. Y no solo por el resultado final de la obra, sino también porque la reforma integral ha permitido al establecimiento escalar hasta obtener las cuatro estrellas.Similar to the Peregrino project, the construction was completed within a very tight timeframe: 8 months. The project entailed a complete overhaul of both the building's exterior facade facing Riazor Bay and the interior spaces.The 165 rooms of the Hotel Riazor now boast a completely contemporary aesthetic. A visual journey that also emanates from the common areas, the café-restaurant, the modern gym…The establishment's imposing white façade and modern amenities have become a symbol of the city's new hotel offerings.

History transformed into quality tourism

In the Asturian town of Muros de Nalón, the teams at Desarrolla carried out a fascinating project. The transformation of a beautiful manorial building of over 400 meters into a set of exquisite tourist apartments.The tourism project la Colonia de Muros showcases and promotes the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Principality's municipality.The project honored the building to the fullest, enhancing its architectural interest. Thus, elements that clearly identify it as a historic building have been preserved: the staircase, the railing, the skylight, the interior woodwork, and the roof structure.Inside, the resort now features six modern apartments with all the necessary amenities for an unforgettable stay.

Barceló Vigo, hotel rehabilitation is also identity

Barceló chain turned to Desarrolla a few years ago to transform the old Hotel México into the modern Hotel Occidental de Vigo. The project we carried out at the time, located in a central area of the city, completely transformed the building.The project only preserved the original layout of the property. All other elements were completely renovated. Moreover, it was done based on a design inspired by the maritime tradition and the avant-garde character that shapes the identity of the city of Vigo.Our teams worked on the more than 5,000 square meters of the hotel to completely renovate all the facilities: carpentry, sanitation, plumbing… Large windows and acoustic ceilings were installed in all rooms, as well as smart lighting systems and high-quality finishes.The minimalist-style furniture was the icing on the cake for an exemplary renovation.

Sol Wave, a journey to paradise

The latest project we are showcasing is quite simply a journey to paradise. The renovation of the outdoor spaces at the Sol Wave Hotel, located in the Mallorcan town of Calviá, was a challenge whose results are immediately apparent.Desarrolla renovated and modernized an area named Hadleys Club, a terrace designed for leisure and dining, but also for relaxation. For swimming and sunbathing.The renovation of Sol Wave began with the complete demolition of the pool and the exterior finishes. From there, a container restaurant was installed, which is a visual delight, while wooden pergolas and straw roofs were placed throughout the terrace.The creation of a beach sand area surrounding the new pool and the exquisite interior design work completed a renovation that today thousands of tourists enjoy throughout the year.Ultimately, the hotel rehabilitation has become another area of specialization for Desarrolla Obras y Servicios. A line of work into which we pour all our experience, dedication, and expertise.
