Construction, like architecture, is about versatility and imagination. Reflection and energy. The teams at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios have once again demonstrated this in the renovation of an apartment in Madrid that has been revived with a new image and enhanced features.

The project started with a very clear budget: to transform an old house into a completely different one, both aesthetically and functionally.

Situated in one of the most exclusive areas of the capital, the first step of the construction was to completely demolish the building original. From there, a completely new layout was executed.

The apartment now features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a service area. In every room, the interior design work has been meticulously executed, designed by Clara Muñoz.

The kitchen, for instance, now boasts a contemporary aesthetic. The integration through elegant paneling of all appliances, the porcelain countertops, and the stunning 2-meter-tall wine coolers have created a space that is both surprising and the epitome of cutting-edge.

Working with Light and Wood

In this same vein, the work with light and wood throughout the house has been exemplary. Every room features adjustable lighting, a functionality that becomes prominent thanks to the indirect light troughs that run along the ceilings and walls of the entire property.Simultaneously, the woodwork, featuring solid white lacquered doors with black details, endows the apartment with a powerful identity.However, carrying out the renovation of an apartment in Madrid with these features also involves an extreme focus on aspects such as energy efficiency. To this end, state-of-the-art insulation was installed throughout the facade using rock wool and double lining.Concurrently, the teams at Desarrolla utilized high-end external joinery of the highest quality to enhance the features of a luxury residence.Finally, the enhancements in efficiency were rounded off with the new ducted air conditioning systems throughout the home and heating through aerothermal energy with refreshing underfloor heating.Ultimately, a very attractive project for all our teams, which is why we want to extend our gratitude to the project developers for their trust in our work.Visit us at the construction headquarters in Madrid.
