DESARROLLA OBRAS Y SERVICIOS HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE CREATION OF THE YUBI RESTAURANT IN BARCELONA, A VENUE THAT BLENDS JAPANESE AND FRENCH CUISINE AND CULTURE IN A SOPHISTICATED, CONTEMPORARY SETTING
Globalization has broken down all kinds of barriers. And gastronomy is no exception. The blending of cultures gives rise to extraordinary results. Yoaké San is fully aware of this and has relied on Desarrolla Obras y Servicios for the construction of the Yubi restaurant, its new venue in Barcelona. An innovative space born from the fusion between Japan and France.
The chef, who rose to fame on a French television cooking show, has drawn on her French-Japanese heritage to create this project. And with that same spirit, Desarrolla Obras y Servicios carried out its execution.
Yoaké San launches the new restaurant Yubi

And with that same spirit, Desarrolla Obras y Servicios carried out its execution.The restaurante Yubi was designed with full respect for the traditions of both countries. Located on Muntaner Street, its layout clearly distinguishes two different atmospheres that nonetheless come together seamlessly. The color palette, built around red and blue, also helps to enhance this duality.
The project has been designed by the architects of Luv Studio. A true guarantee of excellence, comfort, and that touch of distinction demanded by haute cuisine. These three values are reflected in every corner of the Yubi restaurant
The 230 square meters of space are an exercise in sophistication and cutting-edge design. A delight for the senses in a setting destined to awaken and excite diners’ palates.
ART AS A UNIFYING ELEMENT AT RESTAURANT YUBI
With the aim of highlighting the restaurant’s two distinct atmospheres, the walls are finished with textured paint. At the same time, other areas have been clad in vinyl wallpaper featuring various designs created by an artist. The goal? To honor and showcase the history of both countries through art.
This commitment has shaped every space in the Yubi restaurant. And the kitchen, as could not be otherwise, is the heart of the project. The quality of its products is matched by the meticulous attention to detail invested in its design.The showcooking kitchen is a spectacle, both gastronomically and architecturally. The icing on the cake is its counter bar, made with porcelain stoneware by the brand Marazzi.
The complete refurbishment of the space has taken nearly six months. As for the interior design of the new premises, which blends local roots with an international outlook, the furniture has been custom-designed, with exotic touches that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The lighting, controlled through a DALI system, also features decorative details.
The opening of the Yubi restaurant marks a new milestone in the career of this young chef. That’s why at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios we don’t want to miss the opportunity to thank both her and the architecture studio for the trust they have placed in us.
