Quality construction, like architecture, often arises from that path that is intrinsic to these disciplines. Just like the spectacular residence that Desarrolla Obras y Servicios has just completed right on Passeig de Gràcia, in Barcelona. A true showcase of design, innovation, and refined taste.
There, just a few meters from La Pedrera, one of Gaudí’s most iconic buildings, our teams have just merged two residences into one. A delightful project created by the architects of Luv Studio.
The project has been a meticulous exercise in rehabilitation. Not surprisingly, the property was built in 1894 by the architect Antoni Rovira i Rabassa. It is a listed building included in the Special Protection Plan for Architectural Heritage and the Catalogue of the Eixample District.
Cutting-edge design and refined taste born from fusion
The core focus of the project was to merge two homes to create a truly distinctive residence in one of Barcelona’s most exclusive districts. One of them had been renovated just two years earlier, while the other required a more extensive update.
In this latest project, Desarrolla’s teams have completely redesigned the spaces in line with the guidelines of the architects at Luv Studio. A new layout, installation of flooring, bathrooms, and new finishes and ceilings, along with the renewal of the electrical and climate control systems…
Ultimately, a completely redesigned façade that connects in a natural, seamless way with the other residence. In that one, in fact, only a few minor interventions were needed to further reinforce this goal.
A single look at the project speaks for itself. The more than 300 square meters of the new home accommodate a comprehensive brief where no detail has been overlooked. Five master-style bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious living-dining area, an office-style kitchen with central island…
