WE HAVE RENOVATED THE OFFICES WHERE THE MAGIC OF PRIMAVERA SOUND IS CREATED. THEIR HEADQUARTERS IN THE CAPITAL IS NOW AN IMPRESSIVE SPACE OF OVER 1,200 SQUARE METERS, DEFINED BY OPEN-PLAN, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN THROUGHOUT
It is one of the leading international benchmarks in the world of music and large-scale festivals. For more than two decades, the creators of Primavera Sound have built a truly distinctive identity that now leaves its mark on Barcelona, Madrid, Porto, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile… A cultural phenomenon that is shaped in offices like the ones we have just refurbished in Madrid.
The teams at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios have carried out a distinctive project. A development that has updated and modernised more than 1,200 square metres of offices for Primavera Sound in Spain’s capital city. Spread across six floors (basement, mezzanine and four above-ground levels), the complex is all about functionality and design.
The project developed by the architects at Pulso Estudio draws on the uniquely original personality that defines Primavera Sound to create distinctive spaces. Different, yes, but also efficient and rational. This impressive undertaking has also brought together professionals from other companies such as Naturact and Puerta Abierta.
To carry out this ambitious renovation, the teams at Desarrolla began by renewing all the raised technical flooring in the offices. The new floor was created with a vinyl finish installed on pedestals, projecting a highly cutting-edge image without sacrificing any of its functionality.
THE NEW SPACES OF PRIMAVERA SOUND
At the same time, the suspended ceilings in every room were rebuilt, relocating and adapting them to the versatile demands of the workspaces. Not surprisingly, Desarrolla replaced the entire power and data network in the Primavera Sound offices to serve 75 workstations distributed across all floors. The goal? To create a fully functional environment, with high performance in every corner and perfectly tailored to the company’s operational needs.
In this regard, the project also led our teams to install spectacular glass partitions. Six-by-six-metre structures made with black lacquered aluminium profiles. These structures have made it possible to divide spaces within the offices while at the same time creating a sense of openness and accessibility. An idea further enhanced by the smooth flow of natural light.
This concept is especially evident between the first and second floors. There, in a double-height open space, the flow of natural light and the large exterior gallery have shaped a highly original architectural idea that connects seamlessly with the Primavera Sound culture.
An area where, in addition, Desarrolla has carried out meticulous enamel work on the staircase that connects both floors.
The painting work throughout the entire office, the creation of partition linings on several floors to meet the needs of Primavera Sound and the installation of cutting-edge lighting on the ground floor and in the basement complete a high-value project.
