ICON DENTAL CLINIC
DESARROLLA OBRAS Y SERVICIOS has carried out the full fit-out of a premises for the ICON dental clinic, located in the center of A Coruña
The clinic has a usable floor area of almost 300 m2, and is equipped with the most advanced technology in the field of dentistry.Inside, it houses 6 consultation rooms, an X-ray room, a sterilization area, a reception area, two waiting rooms, a private office, and a meeting room. It also includes a private area for staff, comprising a kitchenette, a break room, and two changing rooms, as well as various plant rooms.The teams at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios have completely transformed both properties, giving them a contemporary aesthetic and the most modern features.
Maximum functionality and flexibility of the interior space
The project designed by the architects José Manuel López Mihura, Sonia Romero and José Luis Rey, has achieved maximum functionality and flexibility in the interior space, enabling visual connection between the rooms and the exterior.
LIGHT AS THE PROTAGONIST
Both the ceilings and the floors are finished in light tones, enhancing the effect created by the projected indirect lighting and allowing for maximum use of natural light.Inside, a white epoxy resin coating envelops the extensive surface of the premises. Striking curved forms in the furniture and ceiling are combined with glass partitions featuring original decorative treatments.The refurbishment and fit-out works were completed within a tight timeframe of two and a half months, including the production of the furniture, built on site according to the architects’ design.
