DESARROLLA COMPLETES THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO BEAUTIFUL APARTMENTS LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF A CORUÑA. TO CARRY OUT THE PROJECT, IT WAS NECESSARY TO SUBDIVIDE AN EXISTING DWELLING INTO THE TWO RESULTING UNITS
Divide a home into two to create two modern, functional apartments in the center of A Coruña. This is, in essence, the core of one of the latest projects just completed by the teams at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios.The project, developed by AEstudio Arquitectura, set out from an ambitious goal: to divide a home in order to obtain two completely independent properties equipped with every comfort.
To bring it to life, it was necessary to start from scratch. How? By demolishing all the existing partitions in the original home, as well as the false ceilings and finishes. From there, a new layout was designed for each of the two floors, and the new partitions were built, along with creating individual access from the landing on each level.In both cases, the teams from Desarrolla renewed the exterior carpentry and enlarged the windows opening onto the terraces of each edificación.
DIVIDING A HOME, A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON THE FUTURE
First of the apartments resulting from subdividing a home has a floor area of 226 square meters. The layout it offers speaks for itself: a night area with two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and walk-in closet, plus another double bedroom with walk-in closet, bathroom, hallway, office, and a storage room that also provides access to the rear terrace.For its part, the day area also has access to the terrace and features a beautiful kitchen, a living room, and a dining room.The second home is somewhat smaller (114 square meters), but it is equally full of charm. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are combined in a single space connected to the terrace, creating a great sense of openness.The night area, in turn, includes the main bedroom with bathroom and walk-in closet, two additional bedrooms, a storage area, and an office.In short, two optimally designed spaces created by subdividing a home to shape a highly original and ambitious project.
