Desarrolla Obras y Servicios has begun the comprehensive refurbishment of the Gran Hotel La Toja, an iconic five-star establishment located on A Toxa Island. The project includes upgrades to the thermal club, the spa, the first floor of guest rooms, and the common areas, with the aim of enhancing the building’s health standards, aesthetics, structural safety, and durability, while preserving its heritage value.

Desarrolla begins comprehensive rehabilitation work on the Gran Hotel La Toja, focused on refurbishing the thermal club, the spa, the first floor of guest rooms, and the hotel’s common areas.Among the objectives of this project, it is worth highlighting the improvement of the facility’s health standards and aesthetics, as well as the safety and durability of its structure, in addition to ensuring the heritage protection established for the Gran Hotel La Toja.This five-star hotel complex, located in the southeastern part of the island, is an iconic eclectic-style building with more than a century of history, inaugurated in 1907, designed by the architect Daniel Vázquez-Gulías, and undoubtedly a benchmark in the hotel sector at a national level.
