The teams at Desarrolla Obras y Servicios have just completed the rehabilitation and expansion of a central building located on Médico Rodríguez street. The project has significantly improved the accessibility and livability of the entire property.And it has been achieved through a project, designed by SAestudio, which is the epitome of originality. A creation that is all about fusion. Cutting-edge elements with classic materials, nods to the city's traditional architecture… A delight for the senses.This building with an industrial flair now features a ground floor retail space and six residential units on the upper floors. The first four are located in the renovated sections of the property, while the remaining two are situated in the two newly added levels.

In total, the teams at Desarrolla have worked on over 700 square meters of constructed area to completely transform the building. To revamp it and bring it into the present with a contemporary aesthetic sense. And, of course, to equip it with all the necessary services.The interplay with materials has endowed each piece, each floor, with a distinctive identity. Differentiated. Polished concrete floors, wooden beams, custom carpentry… Pure originality.An originality that emerges in various spaces from the unique combination of materials. Concrete walls connected to stone ones, original white galleries (so characteristic of the architecture of A Coruña) blended with stone and concrete, an industrial aesthetic roof with exposed beams... A building with an industrial air that manages to connect through small interventions with a past that deserves to be remembered.The program of requirements set forth by the developer and the architect leaves nothing to chance. With surfaces ranging from 80 to almost 140 square meters, the six residences feature comprehensive amenities.The four renovated residences indeed feature a living-dining room, two bedrooms with a walk-in closet, bathroom… The one on the first floor even boasts a terrace in the building's inner courtyard.
