THE PROJECT REFURBISHES AND REPLACES THE ROOF OF THE TERESA HERRERA HOSPITAL IN A CORUÑA, ENHANCING ITS WATERPROOFING AND THERMAL EFFICIENCY
The refurbishment and replacement works on the roof of the Teresa Herrera Hospital in A Coruña involved intervention on the slate roof, which was in a very poor state of repair and was causing various leaks on the floor below.To level the roof surface, a cement mortar screed was applied to improve flatness, followed by a waterproofing treatment that allows breathability, the installation of thermal insulation and, finally, the placement of the roof covering using top‑quality rectangular slate tiles.
