MILITARY HOSPITAL WALL AND MAESTRANZA GARDENS
THE PROJECT RESTORES AND ENHANCES THE AREA AROUND THE WALL OF THE MILITARY HOSPITAL AND THE MAESTRANZA GARDENS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF A CORUÑA
The intervention carried out in accordance with the project drafted by the Oficina de Rehabilitación e Vivenda of the council enhances the preserved remains as a historic military facility, restoring their surroundings and the landscape character of the entire complex.
Work has been carried out on the lighting of the BIC using recessed ground spotlights along the perimeter strip of the wall in the area of the former Hospital Militar and the Fundación Luis Seoane, as well as on the removal of visually intrusive elements and the restoration of the original starting levels.In the area of the Jardines de la Maestranza, a timber paving is being installed and the existing cobblestone surface repaired, together with the refurbishment of the existing railings and urban furniture. In addition, the public lighting network in the gardens is being replaced, designed to improve its energy efficiency.The works have been carried out by Desarrolla within the agreed deadlines.
