RESTORATION OF THE TOWER OF HERCULES, THE ICONIC ROMAN LIGHTHOUSE IN A CORUÑA, DECLARED A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE ON JUNE 27, 2009

The works consisted of the rehabilitation of one of the lighthouse’s vaulted chambers, as well as the improvement of the visitor access located in the excavation area, according to the design by Juan Manuel Doce Porto. One of the main tasks was the restoration of the aedicule located outside the tower, which houses the foundation stone of the historic building.
