THE PROJECT REFURBISHES A HOTEL PROPERTY IN A CORUÑA TO INTEGRATE DINING AND ACCOMMODATION, COMBINING CONTEMPORARY DESIGN WITH TRADITIONAL ELEMENTS
Refurbishment of a hotel property located in the center of A Coruña, adapted for the Lois restaurant group, which is expanding its business by adding a new accommodation service to its long-standing hospitality tradition.The project, carried out by the EFECE Arquitectura studio, has successfully combined a contemporary interior design with the restoration of traditional stone on the interior walls and the preservation of the original façade on the exterior. These features give the establishment a warm character that aims to become one of the brand’s hallmarks.
The establishment features a restaurant on the access level, complemented by a dedicated dining area on the first floor, where the use of stone creates a more intimate, homely atmosphere. On the four upper floors there are eleven rooms, including a suite with terrace and a room adapted for people with disabilities.The entire project was carried out by Desarrolla within the demanding 8‑month timeframe, thus meeting the planned objectives.
