
REFURBISHMENT OF THE SEAWALL ALONG THE ORZÁN PROMENADE, INCLUDING THE RENEWAL OF THE PAVING, THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MONUMENT TO THE WELL-KNOWN HÉROES DEL ORZÁN, AND THE RESTORATION OF THE REMAINS OF THE WALL UNCOVERED DURING THE WORKS

The project designed by the architects José Manuel López Mihura, Sonia Romero and José Luis Rey involves the reorganization of an urban space that allows the public to enjoy the existing views over the Orzán cove and the beach of the same name, integrating into the whole a commemorative monument in tribute to the fallen officers, together with the remains of the Pescadería city wall.These remnants of the wall, dating from the 18th century and listed as an asset of cultural interest, are once again accessible, just as they were in their original state. The restoration work carried out also includes a series of small interventions, such as the recovery of the original water drainage system.Desarrolla carried out the refurbishment of the sea wall along the Orzán seafront promenade, meeting the deadlines set for the different phases of the project.
