RAÑOBRE CIVIC CENTER
CONSTRUCTION OF A MUNICIPAL BUILDING FOR A CIVIC CENTER IN RAÑOBRE, MUNICIPALITY OF ARTEIXO (A CORUÑA), ACCORDING TO THE PROJECT DESIGNED BY ARCHITECTS CARLOS MEZQUITA AND JORGE NIMO
The facility-use building has a floor area of 285 m2, laid out over two levels.On the ground floor, an open-plan, multifunctional space of around 115 m2, designed to accommodate any type of meeting or association activity, will make it possible to host several activities at the same time. This level also includes restrooms, a storage room, and a bar area.

Likewise, the upper floor houses a single open-plan space of 50 m², conceived as a potential premises for the Residents’ Association.From a construction standpoint, large prefabricated concrete elements have been used for the ground floor, along with a cladding of coloured opaque glass on the first floor and around the ground-floor openings.The selected materials and systems result in a durable solution with low maintenance costs.
