THE CURRENT TOUR WINNER, JONAS VINGEGAARD, PROVIDED UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS IN LAST YEAR'S EDITION. THE RACE THAT BEGINS ON FEBRUARY 22 PROMISES NEW THRILLS

Desarrolla Obras y Servicios has decided to fully support O Gran Camiño, the professional cycling event that will pass through some of the most spectacular landscapes of Galicia from February 22 to 25. Life+, our social responsibility program, will sponsor the green jersey for consistency. In its third edition, O Gran Camiño has established itself as a benchmark event in the professional cycling calendar for the first part of the year. If in 2022 the duel between Michael Woods and Alejandro Valverde provided us with unforgettable scenes that concluded in favor of the man from Murcia, last year it was the Danish Jonas Vingegaard, the reigning Tour de France winner, who delighted the fans.A top-tier sign that will place Galicia at the heart of the cycling world for those four days. Just last year, no less than 300,000 people watched the live broadcasts of each stage on Eurosport and CRTVG.For Desarrolla Obras y Servicios, the support of O Gran Camiño is a reflection of our commitment to backing initiatives that have a significant social impact in areas such as sports, culture, or aiding underprivileged groups. Thus, for four days, the values that embody the identity of Desarrolla will shine through our logo on a green jersey which, traditionally, always represents one of the most active cyclists in the race.
This year's edition will offer the thousands of fans following the event live or through other channels a journey through the history, landscape, and heritage of a unique land. Top-level riders such as David Gaudu, Nairo Quintana, Carapaz, Egan Bernal, Carlos Rodríguez, or Wilco Kelderman, and teams like Visma, Ineos, Movistar, or Groupama, among others, will delight the enthusiasts. The Great Path will kick off on February 22 with a 15-kilometer time trial starting from A Coruña, where the spotlight will be on the city's authentic symbol: the Tower of Hercules. The following day, the trial will move to the heart of the Ribeira Sacra in Lugo. Participants will take a route between Taboada and Chantada, where they will pedal near the Miño River. On the third day, O Gran Camiño will travel to Ourense with a stage from Xinzo de Limia to the finish in Ribadavia. The event will visit about twenty municipalities in the province, which is expected to be one of the most attended stages by the public. The race will conclude the following day with a spectacular finish that will start in Ponteareas and culminate in the stunning Monte Aloia natural park.Ultimately, four stages that will traverse some of the most beautiful landscapes and locations in Galicia.
