To be more than what we are. To be where we want to be. At Desarrolla Obras y Servicios, we set out a long time ago to give back to society a part of what it gives us. Thus was born our social responsibility program. And the outcome of Life+ in 2023 could not be more satisfying.A journey shared with numerous social entities, artists, and institutions in pursuit of a common goal: to make this world we inhabit a better place.The following is a brief overview of the activities and initiatives of Life+ in 2023.

Desarrolla Plaza, culture at home

One of the major highlights for Life+ in the year that is about to conclude has been Plaza Desarrolla. A support program for emerging bands and artists that has also allowed us to strengthen the bonds among our colleagues.Throughout the year, our headquarters in A Coruña have hosted concerts by bands that are already making waves in the music scene. Queco Lago, Cora Velasco and Carlos Gil, Mt DeMonte…A multitude of artists with whom we have enjoyed and danced. With whom, in some way, we have reinforced and strengthened the values that we identify with at Desarrolla.Our support for culture, which we have also strengthened through the sponsorship of various music festivals and artistic events, is a testament to our commitment.

Playing is another way of building

In the Life+ 2023 balance, our collaboration with Mundo Juego also stands out prominently. The great fair of leisure and fun for the little ones at home.Our original construction game stand delighted both girls and boys at A Coruña's summer events. Also, during the White Week and at the FUCC Parks which were set up at different times of the year in various locations throughout the Herculine capital.All these activities brought together thousands of children and brought them closer to the way of understanding the world that we want to project from Desarrolla.As we are passionate about this line of work, during the summer we also collaborate with the Campamentos Inclusivos de Enki. There, we gift the original coloring notebooks created by our colleague Xabi Cano.These are beautiful notebooks in which children color and decorate illustrations of Desarrolla projects. Some of them are true icons of Galician architecture. Notebooks that we also gifted a few weeks ago to the Residencia de Mayores Laraxe.

Sports and Solidarity, a Life+ Classic in 2023

As could not be otherwise, the summary of Life+ in 2023 holds a very relevant position for all actions related to sports and solidarity. As in previous years, we support the celebration of the Proyecto Enki.The unique and enjoyable race for all families that promotes inclusion and visibility for groups and individuals with functional diversity also celebrated its tenth anniversary this year. An unparalleled opportunity to acknowledge a more than commendable effort.An acknowledgment that other entities with whom we have continued to strengthen our relationship also deserve: Trébore, from the Paideia Foundation, and Adcor, to which we continue to donate our tarps as part of the Delonas program.

A Surprise for the Three Kings Parade

The culmination of all the work carried out since Life+ in 2023 will be made public in a few days. Indeed, Desarrolla will once again be present this year at the traditional Three Kings Parade in A Coruña. But with a very special surprise.We will do it with a new float. A very original design created by our own colleagues that will be all about light, fun, music...A float that has been in the works for several months and with which we hope to amaze both the young and the old.
