ZONA-i AQUARIUM FINISTERRAE

The Councillor for Culture Dñ. María José Bravo and the director of the A Coruña Science Museums Tino Fraga, officially inaugurated the new facilities of the Aquarium Finisterrae, known as Zona-i, an event at which they highlighted the involvement and commitment to the project of the Aquarium’s staff, the Mihura-Romero-Rey architecture studio, and our company—a recognition we deeply appreciate and which rewards the efforts invested in delivering such an emblematic and innovative project.The project required an intervention of great technical complexity, combining bioform architecture using tensioned elastic membranes with linoleum flooring and micro-perforated suspended ceilings.Ensuring visitor access could continue while the works were carried out was one of the major challenges we faced, demanding meticulous, day-to-day planning.
